Google Ads managed against margin, not against the dashboard

Automation sets the bids now. What still decides the outcome is what you feed it, what you exclude, and whether the target it optimises towards reflects real profit.

Our position

The lever is the input, not the bid

Smart Bidding will do a competent job of hitting whatever target you give it. That is exactly the problem: give it a target built on inflated conversions and it will spend efficiently towards the wrong outcome, and the reporting will look healthy the entire time.

So the work that matters sits either side of the algorithm. Feeding it clean conversion data with real values. Excluding the queries and audiences it should never have been allowed to buy. Structuring campaigns so that budget can move between things that are genuinely comparable.

What management covers

  • Account restructures where the current build prevents sensible budget control
  • Search, Shopping and Performance Max, including feed quality work
  • Weekly search term review by a person, with negatives applied deliberately
  • Bid strategy and target setting tied to margin where your data supports it
  • Budget allocation reviewed against contribution, not last-click revenue
  • Ad copy and asset testing run as structured tests rather than rolling edits
Process

The first ninety days

Audit

Tracking, structure, search terms and budget allocation reviewed and written up before anything changes.

Fix measurement

Conversion data corrected first, so the changes that follow can be judged on real numbers.

Restructure where needed

Rebuilt only where the current structure blocks budget control. Change for its own sake costs learning periods.

Stabilise

New bid strategies given room to learn, with pacing watched closely rather than adjusted daily.

Scale deliberately

Budget increases tied to demonstrated contribution, one variable at a time so cause stays visible.

Questions

Common questions

What is the minimum spend you work with?

We are not a good fit for very small accounts, because the fee stops making sense against the upside. We will tell you during the first call rather than take the work anyway.

Who owns the ad account?

You do, always. We work in your account under your billing. If we part ways you keep the account, the history and the documentation.

Do you run Meta and other channels?

Paid search is what we are good at. We will build measurement that serves other channels, but we would rather refer the media buying than pretend to specialise in it.

How long is the contract?

Rolling monthly after any initial build work. Notice period is one month.
